Under Armour Drops Sneaker NFT in Honor of Steph Curry's NBA 3-Point Record

To celebrate Stephen Curry breaking the all-time three-point NBA record, Under Armour (NYSE:UAA +2.43%) will be releasing the world’s first cross-platform metaverse sneaker with true in-game functionality.

The Golden State Warriors Point Guard last week surpassed the all-time three-point NBA record by sinking his 2,974th career shot.

In honor of the historic achievement, Under Armour will be releasing 2,974 NFTs titled “Genesis Curry Flow” collection that are digital replicas of the game-day shoe Curry was wearing when he broke the record – the Curry Flow. Each shoe NFT can be worn across three gaming metaverses — Gala Games, Decentraland, and the Sandbox.
