The Rise and Rest Event (3/8)

Women are expected to do the majority of the housework, care-giving, invisible work in the workplace, hold down a career, appear empathetic and stay young-looking and fit. These pressures and others result in The Exhaustion Gap between men and women and its impact is immense yet seldom acknowledged.

Taking place on International Women’s Day (March 8th) at Luminary from 8:30am - 10:30 am, this event will be a chance for women to rise, rest and ultimately combat The Exhaustion Gap.

Eve Rodskyauthor of Find Your Unicorn Space and Jennifer DaSilvaPresident of Berlin Cameron will unveil new research on The Exhaustion Gap, discussing how the imbalances between men and women’s daily burdens impact creativity, drive, wellbeing and even relationships.

In addition, participants will have the opportunity to hear from Avni Patel Thompson, Founder & CEO of Milo—the first app to tackle the invisible load of running and raising a family and participate in a Creative Shake Up! Playful Movement to Boost Your Mood and Unlock Inspiration with Piera Gelardi, Entrepreneur and Creative Director and get a complimentary gift certificate for a blow out on their own time.  Breakfast by female founded Blank Slate will also be served.
